Description

The itrezzoAgent Administrator (IA-Admin.EXE) is used to configure, run tasks on demand and view status of the itrezzoAgent Server. The User Interface is patterned after the Microsoft Management Console, although it's not actually an MMC snap in.

The interface consists of a navigation pane on the left and a contents pane on the right. Each top level container represents a feature or a repository for physical objects such as servers or handhelds.

Installation

The admin program is installed by default along with the itrezzoAgent Server installation however it can also be installed as a standalone configuration on any of the following platforms:

  • Windows 2000, 2003
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows 7 (MAPI subsystem must be 32 bit)
  • Windows 2008 R2 (MAPI subsystem must be 32 bit)

It requires a MAPI subsystem to open the itrezzoAgent mailbox so it will run on any system that has Microsoft Outlook, the Exchange System Manager, or the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 package. The administrator program does not require CDO to be installed.

The administrator program opens the itrezzoAgent service account mailbox to read and write configuration changes. Any Windows login identity with "mailbox owner" permissions can perform this management. In order to start or stop service from the Servers container, local administrative privilege is required on the target machine.

The itrezzoAgent Administrator (IA-Admin.EXE) is used to configure:

TroubleShooting
