If your BlackBerry Administrator or help desk provides you an Enterprise Activation password, you can use the following steps to activate your BlackBerry:
To start the BES activation, the easiest method is to find the "Briefcase" icon on the home page of the BlackBerry.
If that icon is not showing, open the main BlackBerry Options icon. It is usually represented as a wrench icon, sometimes a gear icon. The following screen will appear:
Choose Advanced Options from the menu
Next, Choose Enterprise Activation:
Enter your email address and the temporary password that yours administrator has provided. This password works only one time.
Note: If there is a field for "Activation Server Address:", leave it blank unless otherwise instructed to do so.
After you have entered all of the information, click the BlackBerry menu key and choose Activate.
Activation typically takes from a few minutes to a few hours.
