Description
The
itrezzoAgent Server server pings Microsoft Exchange Servers,
SQL servers, and the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server to gracefully report errors when servers are down. If the
LAN has
ICMP disabled, you will need to configure the option to ignore
Ping results.
Creating a NO PING Value
- Logon interactively to the specific server where itrezzoAgent Service is running.
- Go to the Start Menu
- Choose Run
- Enter RegEdit. Hit OK or Enter.
- Browse to HKEY_LocalMachine \ Software \itrezzo \itrezzoAgent
- Create a new DWORD value named EPS.IgnorePing
- Set the value to 1
Note: If you are on a 64 Bit Windows OS, you can find the key in this location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\itrezzo\itrezzoAgent
That value gets read at the start of every EPS run. It is not necessary to restart the itrezzoAgent service to take effect.
