Description
The itrezzoAgent Watchdog service monitors the health of the itrezzoAgent Service. The Watchdog reads data from the itrezzoAgent mailbox to validate that the server process is responsive. The
iAWatchDog.EXE process runs as a service. It can be started and stopped using the
Microsoft Windows MMC Snap-in in the Windows Administrative Tools Menu:
Disabling the WatchDog Service
The WatchDog service can be stopped for short intervals without any detriment to the applications. However, the main itrezzoAgent service also has its own internal monitor that may need to be disabled at the request of technical support.
From the
itrezzoAgent Administrator, customize the itrezzoAgent Watchdog as follows.
Select the
Servers Container from the Navigation bar. Right Click on a server and choose Properties.
Disable both the Watchdog Service and the internal monitor by setting the
WatchDog Service Interval to zero.
